capture the purest, most tender moments
Newborn sessions are a chance to capture the purest, most tender moments that slip by too quickly. In those first few weeks, your baby changes every day, and every tiny detail—those tiny hands, soft eyelashes, and delicate little feet—deserves to be remembered forever. I believe in honoring these precious moments by focusing on the little things that make your newborn unique. Whether it's the way they curl into your arms or the soft glow of their skin, these fleeting details are a reminder of the quiet magic in those early days. As a Connecticut Newborn Photographer, my goal is to preserve these memories in a way that feels intimate, romantic, and timeless, so that you can cherish them long after this stage has passed.
Whether you choose the warmth and comfort of your own home or the light-filled luxury of my studio in Stratford, CT, the focus will always be on creating a calming and stress-free environment where you and your baby feel safe. The choice is yours, and I’m here to make the experience effortless. My studio, with its bright, airy ambiance, is designed to provide a peaceful, relaxed setting for your newborn to be photographed in their most natural state. I work closely with you to ensure every session reflects the beauty and serenity of this fleeting time, focusing on those intimate, quiet moments between parent and child that make newborn photography so special.
The importance of capturing this stage cannot be overstated.
As a mother myself, I understand how quickly those early days with your baby slip away—how you blink, and suddenly they're no longer that tiny, sleepy bundle in your arms. By choosing to document this precious time, you're not just taking photos, you're preserving a part of your family’s story. Every photo I capture is sure to serve as a reminder of this time period, holding onto those early moments that you’ll want to revisit for years to come. From the tender snuggles to the way your baby looks at you with wide, curious eyes, these photos will remind you of a time when everything was new, and every moment felt like a beautiful first.
More talking, but less doing. We will discuss every detail of your session, from hair & makeup arrival times, to the wardrobe for your family- leaving no stone unturned and all the decisions taken off your plate- so you can concentrate on whats really important during your session- your family.
This is truly my favorite part of this whole experience. I come to your home with some treats & we will look at your images together and see the possibilites. We can explore options from custom framed artwork to heirloom albums- all the possibilities left up to you while I do the heavy lifting of ordering & installing.

As someone who is very nervous about pictures and photoshoots, Deborah made me feel SOOO comfortable, especially after just having a baby and my body feeling so different. She took care of me and baby from the minute we walked into her studio till the end of the session
"I cant recommend her enough!"

The entire experience was exactly what a postpartum mom needs: calm, supportive, and completely taken care of. If you’re even thinking about booking—do not sleep on this. It’s worth every second and every penny.

Where do newborn sessions take place?
Although I typically recommend CT newborn sessions to take place during the first weeks of life, it is never too late to capture this time. When babies are little, they change almost on a daily basis. Capturing any snapshot of time is important!
After your first trimester is a good time to reach out and see what my availability is. I typically only schedule a certain number of newborns each month to ensure I am available so getting in on the earlier side is key.
I have an assortment of swaddles, wraps, and headbands that I will select to match your outfit. You are also more than welcome to dress baby in something of your own choice.
