Pregnancy is one of the most transformative seasons of a woman's life, and it passes faster than anyone warns you it will. Before you know it, the bump is gone, the baby is here, and you are trying to hold onto a feeling that already belongs to the past. Maternity sessions slow everything down, honor your body and the life growing inside it, and give you something tangible to hold onto when this season becomes a memory. As a Manhattan Maternity Photographer, I pour everything into making sure your session captures not just how you looked, but how this time actually felt.
I work with mothers who want to feel seen, celebrated, and genuinely beautiful in front of a camera, many of whom have never felt comfortable being photographed before. That is where I come in. I know the angles and the light. I know how to draw out the kind of softness and confidence that makes a maternity portrait something you want on your wall for the next twenty years. My studio wardrobe is full of carefully chosen gowns in a range of sizes, so you have everything you need from the moment you arrive. All you have to do is show up.
I offer maternity photography in Manhattan and travel to serve families across the Upper East Side, the Upper West Side, SoHo, Midtown, and Central Park.
Manhattan Maternity Photographer
Every maternity session I photograph is built around one thing: you. Not a preset look, not a formula, not a set of poses pulled from a mood board. I start with a real conversation about how you are feeling in your body, what you love about this pregnancy, and what you want to remember most. From there, every decision, including location, wardrobe, timing, and mood, is made in service of telling your specific story.
Whether you picture something intimate and soft indoors, or something with more air and natural light outdoors, your maternity photoshoot in Manhattan will be shaped entirely around what feels true to you. I guide you through every moment so you are never standing there unsure of what to do. And because I keep things relaxed and unhurried, what comes through in the images is not performance. It is the real thing.
These are the photos you will show your child one day. The ones that will make you stop mid-scroll and just sit with the feeling of who you were in this exact season. That is what I am here to create.
You spend all your days worrying about everyone else. Let me take care of you for a change.
First we have a real conversation. I want to know what this pregnancy has been like for you, what you are hoping to feel during your session, and what kind of images you actually want on your walls. This is how I make sure the session we plan is yours, not a version of someone else's.
I take care of every single detail in advance so that nothing is left for you to figure out on shoot day. Wardrobe, timing, location scouting, hair and makeup coordination: all of it is handled together during our planning call. By the time your session arrives, your only job is to show up.
I work slowly and intentionally. There is no rushing, no chaos, no long list of poses to get through. I pay attention to how you are feeling in the moment and adjust as we go. Most clients tell me afterwards that it felt less like a photoshoot and more like an afternoon they actually enjoyed.
A few weeks after your session, I bring your edited gallery to you. We look through everything together, talk about how the images will live in your home, and make decisions about artwork and albums at your own pace. I handle every last step of ordering and delivery. You do not lift a finger.
From the moment you book your session, my goal is to make this experience as effortless and enjoyable as possible, allowing you to fully embrace the beauty of the moment without any stress.

She made us feel so relaxed and natural during the whole shoot. My husband and I had a great time! We could not believe it was us when we got our photos back and are seriously obsessed with them all. She captured the most beautiful photos that we will cherish forever.

What a lovely experience! From the very start of the process we were treated with such kindness & warmth. My daughter was so comfortable, my husband made multiple comments about how nice she is and how painless of a process photos were.”

"Could not have asked for better pictures of my pregnancy, I will treasure them always.”
I recommend reaching out as early as your 12-week appointment. We will schedule your session for when you are 28 to 34 weeks, when your bump is at its most beautiful and you are still feeling comfortable and mobile.
I have a full client wardrobe of gowns, wraps, and dresses in a range of sizes and shades that I have hand selected for how they photograph. Light, muted tones work beautifully and keep the focus on you. You are more than welcome to bring something of your own as well, and we will plan it all together during your prep appointment.
I offer outdoor maternity photography throughout Manhattan, including Central Park, the Upper East Side, Upper West Side, SoHo, Chelsea, and other New York City locations. If you’re looking for a studio maternity session, you’re welcome to visit my private portrait studio in Stratford, Connecticut, where you’ll have access to my client wardrobe and a comfortable, relaxed environment.
I always recommend it. Not only does professional hair and makeup photograph beautifully, it changes how you carry yourself in front of the camera. When you feel polished and taken care of, it shows in every single image. I can recommend trusted artists in the area, and we will coordinate timing as part of your session prep.
Yes. I am based in Stratford, CT, and regularly serve families as a maternity photographer in Fairfield County, and across New York. Whether you are looking for a maternity photographer in Manhattan or travelling in from Connecticut for a city session, I will be there.
