There is something so special about beach maternity photos. The beach is a perfect area for light & bright photography. Everything is gorgeous no matter the season! The wind adds a perfect edge of dramatic flare to each of your photos. Also, it never matters which shoes you wear at the beach because you can always go barefoot!

Before heading down to the beach, I love to take some photos in the park area. This section of the park varies all throughout the year, but looks beautiful no matter the season. It is great to have a bunch of varied shots through the two locations. This moms dress from my client closet looking beautiful in the grass, and on the beach!
As a Connecticut maternity photographer my favorite time to shoot is golden hour. This is the hour before sunset or the hour of sunrise. It creates really beautiful light that makes your beach maternity photos really beautiful. This lighting looks good on everyone!

As the sun begins to set and everything gets all soft and glowy, this is a perfect time for romantic poses. I love to get some gorgeous photos of the beach scenery, and to pose you and your significant other in some sweet and loving poses.

Some photos of mom by herself are always key in a successful maternity photoshoot at the beach. These individual pregnancy beach photos are some to remember for a such a special time in your life. I often travel to various beaches in Fairfield County or New Haven County- including Short Beach, Sherwood Island and Silver Sands State Park.
