Services

The children’s branch at the Fairfield Library provides kids with a cheerful place where they can find their new favorite books and enjoy storytime. The main library is decorated to look like a miniature city. Your child can duck into small town halls or read on the benches beneath manufactured trees. There are storytimes available for all ages. The Terrific Twos program lets your child sing songs and perform movements between fun stories. Baby Rhymes gives you the chance to cuddle with your baby and lead them through rhymes. Paws to Read brings in trained therapy dogs that will listen to stories read by elementary school kids. There are additional drop-in storytimes for preschool-aged children. Registration is necessary for most programs, and you can sign up on their website.
