Services
The center provides you with an inviting space where you can receive all of your prenatal care. From the start of the first trimester, you’ll meet with a Yale provider who will give you personalized care. As you near your due date, you’ll create your birth plan to have all the accommodations you need throughout your delivery.
Yale offers private labor rooms that will keep you comfortable throughout childbirth. Every room features an adjustable bed, helpful tools such as birthing balls, and private showers. You can select a room with a hydrotherapy tub for a natural form of pain relief. There’s plenty of space for your support person to stay by your side with their expandable couches.
Following birth, you’ll be transferred to a postpartum room with a comfortable bed, a TV, and an expandable couch for your partner. The hospital is baby-friendly and encourages rooming in. Specialists will stop by throughout your visit to check on your family and ensure you have all the information you need before leaving.

The hospital offers several operating rooms with state-of-the-art equipment for cesarean births. Maternal-fetal medicine specialists staff the floor 24/7 to provide you with expansive care. Should your baby need a little extra assistance following delivery, you’ll have access to a NICU where experts will ensure your child gets the attention they need.
