I cannot believe that I am booking for fall already. Before you know it, the temperature is going to plunge, and fairs will start, and the leaves will begin to drop. I’ve gotten a lot of questions about fall maternity photos, so I wanted to write a blog post about one of my favorites from last year…
This day was absolutely perfect. Although Lauren and I were not sure if she would be freezing in this dress or not, but she had a gorgeous sunny fall day. Nearing the end of fall, we were lucky to be able to find the most beautiful trees with gorgeous color.
If you need some inspo on fall maternity outfit ideas, these two knocked it out of the park with their color scheme. Some other ideas for fall sessions would be long boho dresses. Free people has a beautiful one that I just added to my client closet! I recommend staying with a neutral color palette to really let the leaves show off their beauty. Check out this dress in Ivory! Having a dress with draping fabric can really add an element of whimsicalness and romanticism to your photos.Lauren wore a client closet maternity dress for her fall photos that looked gorgeous on her and showed off her bump. Her husband wore a green shirt that added a little color to the photos.
Lauren was even willing to lay in the leaves which totally made her maternity fall photos so special. If you are looking for photos in the fall, there is no greater time living in New England. Having your photos taken before 34 weeks is especially crucial if you are wanting to be able to get in and out of poses like this safely and somewhat easily. After that time frame everything gets a bit more difficult and uncomfortable. If you are going to be between 28-34 weeks in the fall, contact me today as my fall availability is filling up!
