Hi mamas! Taking your newborn photos is so important to me, and I feel so honored to have clients who trust me with this special time period.
From the second that I walked into this home, I felt so comfortable. This sweet family is so in love with their newest addition and it shows. Having a newborn is seriously a game changer, but I could tell that this family was handling it all with such grace. This newborn photoshoot was simply as easy as can be, and the end result was perfection.

Little man was an angel throughout his pictures, and his big brother followed us around from start to finish. These newborn photos will be treasured for years to come. Even though the days may feel long, the newborn phase passes by so quickly. In a few years, it will feel like you blinked.
We were able to stop a few times for him to get in a feed, and even got some beautiful breastfeeding shots for mom to treasure. These are not shown out of respect for her privacy, however- if you ever wanted them please do not be shy!

Their neutral decor, and the sun coming through the windows provided the perfect setting for some beautiful photos of mom and her newborn. There is seriously nothing sweeter than newborn toes, I am convinced of this!
This family will have these baby pictures to treasure, because by the time I am writing this blog post- he probably already looks like a different kid! However, I bet he still has these sweet little rolls and an even bigger belly laugh! Ready to learn more? Head to my contact page so we can chat! I can’t wait to capture memories for you.

There is something about a Christmas tree farm photo session that feels completely different from any other kind of portrait session. The rows of evergreens. The smell of pine in the cold air. There is something about fall that makes everyone want to reach for a camera. The leaves turn, the light softens, and suddenly the whole world looks like a painting. As a Connecticut family photographer, I watch this happen every year, and every year, without fail, families who have been putting off their session finally decide […]
