Speaking as both a mom of two, and as a maternity photographer-I have a unique insight. As much as I loved my first round of maternity photos, there is something so special about family maternity photos. I love that these photos were going to be the last ones of us as a family of 3. The moments of my daughter kissing her baby brother are unmatched. She still loves to look at these photos and talk about how my son used to be in my belly. Family Maternity photos are not to be forgotten. Especially if you didn’t do them for your first, if anything they can be even more special with the addition of your other children!

I like to treat my maternity pictures as a great time to get to know you guys as a family before the newest arrival. This gives me a chance to bond with your youngest so that during newborn photos they are familiar and excited to see me. Having just done the transition from one to two, I am really passionate about making sure your first born is feeling really special and has some control. Even though this is an exciting time, it can be filled with a lot of emotions for them. I want them to feel great during our session. Want to hear more about my maternity & newborn package? Look no further!
I truly think that it is such a gift to have photos of just you and your first born. The added pregnancy bump is just a more beautiful addition. These family maternity images are truly something that you cannot recreate any other time, and something that you will be nostalgic for one day. This will give your first born some one on one time that they are probably craving before the new baby arrives.

Like all of my sessions, I don’t just want you to just love the photos. I want you to love the experience. Everything from the moment we begin talking should feel effortless, and easy. The session will be fun and filled with quality time with your loved ones. Pregnancy near the end can get hectic and chaotic. I felt like I spent more time with my OB than with my toddler. This is a great chance for you to make a memory that you will not only remember forever, but have pictures to prove it!

Pregnancy is a time when you have to deal with a lot of unknowns. As a luxury motherhood photographer based in Fairfield County, Connecticut, I’ve had the honor of capturing so many precious moments in that first year — but there’s one in particular that’s truly magical: the six-month sitter milestone.
